I purchased a brand new BMW F30 M-Sport model in February 2013 & as soon as I purchased it I realized that there was a paint defect on the boot lid and when I asked Gary Burrow (from BMW Auto Glen) about it via e-mail, he kept ignoring the e-mail but he could...

(07 Sept 13) I am a proud owner of a BMW for 7 years now. However, yesterday (7 Sept 13) I took delivery of my pre-owned diesel X5 at SMG Cape Town. When unveiling the vehicle I quite surprised that it was not even valet. Upon further inspection, I realised that minor...

BMW South Africa review in Witbank, Mpumalanga: Customer Service

I have a new BMW125I coupe they towed my vehicle (Thursday 27/6/13) from my house, Friday after how many calls i had to make to find out whats happening i eventually got an answer Saturday morning (29/6/13) loose wire, when i collected the vehicle notices steering wheel does not feel right, took the vehicle home and Tuesday it went for service they now found out the rim inside is damaged, what i am trying to tell the lady who damaged the rim, the guys that towed the vehicle, cause now it is not BMW problem they want to fix steering? it is the wheel, tells me i can claim from my insurance they not going to pay for the premium that goes up, someone has to take responsibility for the damage, no use passing the buck to me, that vehicle had no steering problem before now it does, who is to blame, I eventually slammed the phone in the woman's ear, she obviously does not know a steering is linked to a wheel? Not happy at all

The matter went to the motor ombudsman who is is the pocket of his paymaster being BMW, they have not proper technical capability. I back this up by their comment to check the dip stick.

Well if you know just a simple point BMW has not had a dip stick for nearly20 years.

They are a bunchofoldretired people who don't know anything nor do they read both parties correspondence but show that they only read what their paymaster tells them. Time a current affairs or carte Blanche program looked into theoperation

BMW South Africa review in Centurion, Gauteng: Defective Aircon on BMW E90

I own a BMW 320i with has motor-plan still and it has got a faulty aircon of which I took to Joburg City Auto for repairs but failed and I took the car Club Motors in Fountains four times but nothing seems to be right. And if I ask them to replace the entire component they refuse telling me that they'll look at some stuff even though they assured me that they will fix it the last time i took it. On March 19'th and 23'rd I took it twice but in one week and yet nothing good came out of it! BMW is a joke because after this I heard too many people complaining of other things from BMW SA.

BMW South Africa review in Dallas, Texas: BMW E90 RIMS DEFECT

I bought a set of 17" BMW MOTORSPORT rims from BMW Supertech in DBN last year feb, and it had a problem with the process by which it was sprayed when manufactured, it started after a week or so to get pitted etc, I had to have the 4 rims replaced 3 times and still the back 2 are not right. It is shocking to note that one spends so much money on these vehicles and to receive such shocking products, I have now been informed that they would for the 4th time replace the back 2 rims. I wait to see if they finally have got it right. BMW was of liittle or no help, I had to call them 101 times to have this sorted out,

BMW South Africa review in Centurion, Gauteng: BMW in 3rd world ripoff

Dear Sirs, An open letter to BMW AG management and BMW South Africa Management. To: Mr. G Kilfoil, Corporate Affairs Manager, BMW South Africa Dear Mr. Kilfoil,Today, 3 Feb. 2010, I attempted to purchase a replacement battery for the central locking key to my car, from Auric Auto, Claremont, Cape Town. (Ref Messrs Scoble & Herselman, 021 670 1100) The last time I had it replaced the cost for a battery plus labour was R15. Today, about a year later, I was quoted R268 for the same battery plus I would have to put it on a work ticket so that they could open the key and replace the battery - and charge me for that as well. This is sheer corporate theft on the part of BMW South Africa . Its a further example of how Eurozone companies, for all their political correctness, are still the opportunist robbers and crooks in the 3rd world that they have always been. Many will find this completely disgusting corporate behaviour abhorrent and your company must be brought to book for corporate theft because you simply cannot carry on like this. Lutz Kranz Cape Town
